Saltaire Shutter Bed

Custom Orders

As you would expect, we receive a lot of custom orders. A lot. So, when a Client/Customer has specifics requests, we do everything in our power to make it a reality. As noted in my post yesterday, Dwayne has been working on a Custom King Size Bed make entirely from Shutters and Salvaged Spindles.

Take note- this bed is not in its completed stage. It still has a few more steps to the finishing process which will create the effect of shutters that have washed ashore.  Dwayne used a combination of CeCe Caldwell's Simply White, Pittsburgh Grey and Seattle Mist to achieve this look. He also added dark pigment to the Wax. If this is in its raw state, can you imagine the final look complete with fine linens?
Enjoy!
Ahhh...
